Joan & Leonardo Magazzolo

Wear His Word! is a T-shirt line by Bible Belt Outfitters, an apparel company dedicated to spreading God's word one T-shirt at a time! The company was started by singer/songwriter JD Danner and her fashionista niece Joanie Cox. This T-shirt and accessory line is designed to uplift, inspire and celebrate Christianity.

Their favorite city to visit is Nashville, Tennessee... With Joanie being a fashion journalist and J.D. being a self-proclaimed southern bell-wanna be, it was only natural that the company name should be Bible Belt Outfitters.

J.D.'s father (Joanie's grandfather), Leonardo Magazzolo, was in the garment industry in the heart of the fashion district in New York City. His dedication to God and the American dream inspired them to launch their own line. In celebration of the remarkable life Leonardo lead, these two girls continue his legacy by combining faith and fashion. Together they believe that with God all things are possible!

About JD

J.D. Danner is a Country-Rock singer/songwriter who grew up in the quintessential New York, Catholic, Italian family. Two things always happened on Sundays - Sunday mass and Sunday sauce(not gravy). She was raised with a profound faith in Jesus, His Blessed Mother and the saints. Ironically, both J.D. and Joanie survived rollover car accidents.

J.D.'s rollover happened in 1999. She miraculously walked away with minor injuries. Believing she was spared for a reason (through Joanie's encouragement), J.D. recorded a gospel CD and has committed her creative works to help make the world a better place. In keeping that commitment, she regularly gives her time and CD proceeds to benefit organizations such as The American Cancer Society, Kids in Distress and Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.

Cherished moments: Performing for the troops... Touching a heart with a song... Hanging out with family and friends... Coming home to find her pit bull Frankie has not eaten her couch again!

About Joanie

Joanie Cox is a fashion and entertainment writer who grew up in Boca Raton, FL with a deep devotion to Jesus and a strong appreciation for family. On April 30 2009, her life was literally turned upside when she survived a horrible rollover accident. Laying in the hospital later that night, Joanie did something she hadn't done in months--she prayed.

She's so grateful God saved her that she wants to use her second chance to spread His message through her love for style and inspire others to embrace the Lord.
